Although I expected to be telling you all about the history and fine food at Black Horse Inn, we had a last minute cancellation. Seriously, they called Diane at 4:30 to cancel our 6pm party. BUT, we had a fine time at Timmerman’s instead.

Kay sent me a couple updates on the House Tour:
1. Letters have been sent to a number of homeowners in the Clarke area asking them to participate in our 2010 Old House Tour.
2. Mark your calendars - the date of the 2010 Tour is May 22-23, not May 15-16 as originally advertised.
For some reason the Dubuquefest folks decided that the weekend of May 1 didn’t count as the first weekend in May,
and that May 22 is the third weekend. Funny math, I’d say. At any rate, we’re matching their dates.
Future Meetings & Events
January 14 at 7pm – Kristen Smith & Jim Swenson’s home – 389 Hill St.
We’ve re-scheduled at Kris & Jim’s for January. Treats provided by Dale/Maureen and Chris Keister. Our guest speaker is Nancy Van Milligen from the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque.
