Joining the Old House Enthusiasts is easy!

The Dubuque Old House Enthusiasts is a non-profit organization, promoting historic preservation, conservation, education and awareness.

Membership is open to anyone who will support the goals of the organization, as stated above. Dues are $15 per individual or $30 per couple, annually. Dues are usually collected for the upcoming year at the June meeting.

Monthly meetings are held the second Thursday of each month, often featuring a guest speaker, and ending with plenty of time to trade old house restoration tips and stories.

Each year, the group sponsors the Annual DubuqueFest Old House Tour, to provide community members and visitors the opportunity to enjoy and appreciate a sample of Dubuque's historic treasures, as well as to promote interest in their preservation.

Each year, the tour serves as a fundraiser for area historic places and educational materials. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for events, please contact one of the House Tour chair persons on the contact page of the website.

If you own an old home (but this is not necessary), appreciate old architecture/preservation/conservation, are restoring an older house/building, and want to share your experiences and enthusiasm with like-minded folks, this is the group for you!

All you have to do to join is just show up at the next meeting.

If you have any questions, please contact one of our officers or committee chairpersons.

The rewards are abundant and the knowledge gained is endless.
